Black, or a variation of it can be VERY classy if worn correctly. The ad

listed above is a great example - glossy and fresh, and with a hint of

blue that accents the pretty blue eye liner the model is wearing. Picking

up a trace of blue in her outfit is another great tie (though you can't tell

in this picture). Thankfully, black isn't just black anymore.

super hot colors, a little on the expensive side but it won’t peel like the

cheap store bought ones usually do.

As one respondent noted above, there are many blacks with hints of red, blue,

gold and silver sparkles mixed in, setting off an intrigueing light-catching

effect in brighter lights.It's not just for goths or Halloween anymore!
But, black on long nails or really short nails can stand out and doesn't

really work. Black on toes does work if wearing shoes that compliment it

.

Sandals on the beach is probably not the right look.
And, chipped black, like other nail colors when they become worn,

is just not a great look. It screams that this person is in need of some

maintenance!How about guys wearing black? It does work in some cases.

Like when wearing a black tux to a really posh party. I saw a guy sporting

black toenails (with a hint of silver) at a very posh pool party. He was wearing

dark grey sandals and his feet were very tanned. Nice look!
